Overview

Matchbook is a Java and Spring Boot trading engine that matches buy and sell orders through backend APIs. It pairs a REST and WebSocket surface with PostgreSQL storage, packaged in Docker with CI.

How it works

A client-server architecture exposes REST and WebSocket APIs to the matching engine, which persists the order book in PostgreSQL. Order-matching logic is tested with JUnit and benchmarked with JMH for latency and edge cases.
